“The more our world functions like the natural world, the more likely we are to endure on this home That is ours, but not ours alone.” Janine M. Benyus
We are rediscovering nature as a source of inspiration for further developments. This is about science and who we want to be in life. The harmony between man, animal and nature is becoming increasingly important. The change of mindless consuming and possessing material things to intellectual hunger and meaningful creating. No longer will people rule the world, there is now a three-dimensional consistency of humans, animals and nature.
Biomimicry is all about to learn from nature, to look for inspiration in nature and imitate nature for new inventions. It is the combination of technology and biology. It’s not about what we can get from nature but rather what we can learn from nature. Nature is the only “organization” that is completely transparent and has been for millions of years.
By applying knowledge there are innovations possible for new services and/or products, for example: nanotechnology, biomimicry, and a self-sufficient life.
