Today is a day in the history of my life. I will register myself at the Kamer van Koophandel. I’m starting my own business, stouDt agency. I want everybody to know about it. It’s a big thing in my life because I’m not taking risks so often! Now I’m starting my own business, I’m not having a logo, a visit card or anything else but hé, I’m just doing it! I want to inspire everyone else to just do it.
I’m 23 years old, still a student without money and I’m doing it as well. And why? Because I don’t want a normal student job but I want to distinguish myself from others. I’m going to do assignments for other companies so I can build up experience, build a network and chasing my dreams. I want to be my own boss with a lot of contacts and assignments in different sectors. It’s easier to start right now instead of starting my business when I’m finished school. I’m a bit scared but it doesn’t stop me to chasing my dreams. So does nothing have to stop you to chase your dreams!
So if you know anyone who’s wanting an independent woman who’s making: trend-, concept- and/or marketing and communication reports, you can give me a call or send me an email!
Just follow your dreams, work hard for it and just do it!
Get a compliment from another is always great! But if a compliment is given by strangers is even more GREAT.
“The paradigm of clothing as protector and concealer is slowly shifting: increasingly, our bodies are becoming more and more public, while new forms of neuroimaging technology are developing that may one day allow for surveillance and interception of the contents of our minds.” say Chung and Morris.
Two Fabrica design researchers, Lisa Kori and Caitlin Morris, created a line of high-fashion accessories that can shield your thoughts from mind-reading scans. Both are interested in contemporary issues of privacy and the role of craft in technology, and came together to reconsider the role that garments might play in society and surveillance.
These high-fashion accessories carry alert wearers to Neuro-Imaging Surveillance (NIS) scans. The technology is currently used for medical purposes. It can scan the brain to see which brain activities are active so you might can see what a person is thinking or feeling.
The anti-NIS accessories have built-in sensors to detect brain scans but they cannot block the scan without heavier, less subtle technology. Instead, the pieces use lights, bone-conduced sound, or electric shocks to momentarily distract the user, thus preventing the scan from seeing their previous mental state. Kori and Morris’s anti-NIS line made its debut at the Futures10 exhibition during the Wearable Futures festival in London.

I’ve already wrote a blog about street artists because they are rising and more and more people follow these particular artists these. A growing group of people appreciate their art.
We all know the song of Queen and while I’m writing this blog the lyrics are in my head. Thanks to myself… But biking is the new walking. It’s for transportation, sporting and just to be cool because when you don’t have a bike you’re out.
Sharing is the standard in society, a lot of sharing communities rise up. You can share your experience, clothes, knowledge, materials, food and go on. You can also share your books online and offline.
In a restaurant there are a lot of noises but you just want to eat and enjoy your meal. A kid which is crying, a couple of friends who are laughing so hard and your own man who is burping and eating like an animal. You just want some silence is that to much?
